Congratulations - The
Racers Group Wins Le Mans...!!!!
The checkered flag is out - and The Racers Group will
shortly be standing on the
podium receiving the recognition for a First Place GT win at Le
Mans that they so
richly deserve. At the same time, many of you share in the
credit for this win
- so this is as much your win as if you were standing on the
podium in France - for in my mind and I know I speak for
the entire crew and team
of The Racers Group- you share this win. It is yours. My thanks
and congratulations
Racers Group!
At the same time, we made a commitment to launch the
Natalie Streather Fund in
a grand way. Adrian and Gail Streather and I have been
determined to bring
International focus to this cause - and now, I would like to
believe that we
have "won" at this race as well. However, it was -
again - only possible
through the efforts, donations and support of some of you. Our
combined thanks. We have come a long way in the past few
weeks where much was
at risk, and we will prevail when the Streather Fund re-opens to
take in further
funding and donations in the near future. I expect that we will
have a similar
"win" with the Fund - and we'll drive hard towards
fulfilling its promise
to save children from the scourge of drugs. To note - perhaps it
is only fitting that a decal with "Natalie L. Streather"
should be on the winning
GT Le Mans car on Fathers Day, as Adrian Streather has been one
of the driving forces behind this Fund initiative, and as well -
behind this site we
call "Rennlist".
So - here is a list of folks and businesses
that I am aware of - who made
this dream come true at two levels - a win at Le Mans for
the Racers Group, and a win for an historical and memorable commencement of the
Natalie Streather Fund. My sincerest thanks to each:
