Unplanned Outage
As you may have noticed, the Rennlist website and e-mail list server has been off-line for several hours. At approximately 16:50 EDT, one of the primary servers went belly-up - showing the much dreaded NT "BSOD" (Blue Screen of Death:-) due to a catastrophic sub-system hardware failure.
After several hours - we went back on-line at 19:59 EDT using one of our secondary servers after moving all the code and database to this secondary server. This weekend, you may notice that the
site may go down for a few minutes as I try to revive the failed server.
Finally, please be aware I had to manually flush the out-mail caches so that you should *not* receive the much dreaded "double-double post-post" as the servers come back on-line. If you *do* receive two copies of the same note - I apologize, but I believe I caught most of them.
