Rennlist Technical Libraries Introduced

After several months of anticipation, I am pleased to announce that we now have the site and software infrastructure in place to offer Rennlist Technical Libraries.

What are these - and how do they work?

Very simply, well written "HOW-TO" posts are archived in a special area of either this Rennlist Forum (in the "Technical Library" Section below) or in the new Rennlist Technical Library Website. The new site is somewhat "bare" just now, but I expect it will not take long to add some excellent content!

A quick overview.....

- Before your post is placed in the new Technical Library - the Moderators will ask your permission to do so (either in a private e-mail to you or in a post in that discussion thread).

- If you have a post you would like to submit that you have authored - you may do so by posting it to this Forum, e-mailing a moderator or sending it to tech@rennlist.org. Once it is reviewed, we will add it to the Library.

- If you see a post which you think is valuable and worth keeping in this special archive - then please let us know! We'll ask permission to include it...

- If you would like us to post photographs for you in your article just let us know..

Finally - On the new Rennlist Technical Library Website, you will see several individuals who are listed as "Rennlist Technical Advisors". These are folks of distinction with an incredible capacity to share their knowledge and assistance with the rest of the 75,000 individuals on this site. These Technical Advisors were nominated several months ago by your fellow Rennlist Members - and accepted our invitation to participate as a Technical Advisor. To these very special Rennlisters, my sincerest thanks, and by way of appreciation, each is now a LifeTime Rennlist Member, along with some other "perks".

If you would like to nominate others who you believe have consistently gone out of their way to assist others on Rennlist, I would be delighted to consider these folks to complement the existing Rennlist Technical Advisors.
