Site Changeover - The site changeover is almost complete. I'll pull the old circuits and IPs over the next 24 hours, and then we'll be done. For the most part - over 99% of the web/list traffic and systems are now using the new lines and equipment, so Rennlist should have few, if any, service interruptions.
Member Only Site, Lists Technical Advisors - If you are a Rennlist Member and applied for access to the Closed Member Only lists and sites - most of you have now been approved. When I get a moment - I'll post a formal announcement of the Rennlist Technical Advisors who will be monitoring and assisting with their technical expertise within those closed lists. To say that Rennlist has assembled the "Best of the Best" from a Porsche knowledge base would be an understatement - and to the dozen or so individuals who have stepped forward to become Rennlist Technical Advisor, you have our combined admiration, appreciation and thanks..!
Rennlist Lifetime Member - Not since we announced Lifetime Memberships several years ago to the few folks who donated funds for the site name transition has Rennlist added another Lifetime Member. Lifetime Members gave without any expectation of reward or recognition and as some realize - Lifetime Memberships are NOT available for sale *at any price*, but rather, are given in recognition of an individuals actions. Therefore, from the Audi 20V list, I would like to welcome Ryan Weatherby as our newest Lifetime Member. My thanks to Ryan for his extraordinary thoughtfulness in supporting this site..
Finally, many of you on the lists have e-mailed me privately about the sheer volume of posts on the e-mail lists and Web Discussion Boards. My short answer is that Rennlist continues to grow and expand - as we have over 65,000 participating throughout this site, and as participation increases, it is my intent to institute new areas and expand existing formats to accommodate and promote Rennlist area to meet all the site visitors expectations. Therefore - now that the Site change-over is fading in the rearview mirror - wait until you see what road appears before us at Rennlist...
