Rennlist Expands Products and Services – The 993-996 Board is Announced

Portsmouth, New Hampshire - 4/17/1999 – It gives us great pleasure to announce the 993-996 Board found at http://993-996.rennlist.com. This Board has been designed with you in mind - as it reflects many requests I have received over the recent past. While it is a slightly different technology then Rennlist - it is a "Message Board" specifically for 993 and 996 owners and enthusiasts. And this Message Board is different from others - as it utilizes technologies (e-mail) we have all become accustomed to.

Capabilities include....

• The ability to receive e-mail messages when someone responds directly to your post. In this e-mail, you will see who posted a reply and the content of their message. These messages will be sent directly to you - and a hyper-link will be included for you to respond directly to that message.

• You may "subscribe" to the Board - and you will receive a copy of each post that has been submitted to the board - whether you have posted or not. This is similar to Rennlist - where you may receive each e-mail message as it is submitted.

• After you have logged on for the first time - you will see a "New" message Post for those messages you have not seen since your last logon. This architecture is based on "Cookies" which is supported by both Microsoft and Netscape browsers.

Other Improvements that will occur shortly... we are currently working on several improvements to the existing site and it's usability. These include:

• After posting a message you are returned to the thread you were previously reviewing.

• The Ability to receive Digests from this Message Board.

• Lastly, the ability to subscribe to a list at Rennlist.org and review the messages to this Board as they are submitted.
