Rennlist Announces New Lists...
Greetings...
At the request of many Rennlist Members, it is my pleasure to announce the addition of several new lists at Rennlist.
These lists are not "open" to anyone visiting the site; but
rather
if you have a Rennlist Membership Card or filled out the form at:
http://www.rennlist.org/members.htm - you are invited to join. The intent of these lists are significantly smaller
forums where:
- All your fellow list members are all Rennist Members;
- Announcements for Member Price and Service Specials will be
announced within these lists before the General lists;
- There will be *no* spontaneous commercial posts from parts/cars
commercial vendors allowed. Members *may* post their private
items for sale (within the existing guidelines) and if
commercial vendors would like to post - they will have to do so=
with the Administrators permission *before posting*;
- Over the next several weeks, I will be asking TECHNICAL specialists to monitor these lists for real-time, closed
loop
feedback to your questions. At least one Specialist will be
appointed per list - and if warranted - several specialists may
be appointed if there is a diversity of subject matter;
- Should you have Technical Problems/Questions about/with
Rennlist - you have priority status to resolving these issues
from our Support Staff (OK - that's me:-);
- You will have direct input and suggestions will be solicited
into Rennlist Programs, Services and Events;
- Posts from these lists MAY be cross-posted to the public
Rennlist lists - posts from the public lists will *not* be
posted into these Member lists;
- All applications for joining these lists *must be approved* by
the site administrator to verify you are a Rennlist Member - so
there may be a waiting period before you are allowed to post or
receive messages (until your application is approved);
- If your Rennlist Membership is *not* current, you will be=
removed from these lists when your membership expires;
- Message from these lists will *not* have [LISTNAME] preceding
each message subject (i.e. - [911]) to allow for easy threading
of messages in your mail program;
- Rennlist Sponsor Ads will be limited to Rennlist Member
Specials ONLY. If there are no Sponsor Supported Specials -
there are no ad footers (except for "unsubscribe"
information);
- There is a new list all together - a Member "Tavern".
This is
a list for discussing general items of interest - BUT IT IS NOT
A FLAMERS list! All general rules of Rennlist List Etiquette
apply in the Tavern;
- The intent of these lists is to provide low-traffic; high
technical content formats (except "Tavern" - which is
General
Subject). If there is demand for additional closed Member Only
lists - we would be delighted to offer them...
