Rennlist Runs Like a Rolex
After nearly four weeks, it gives me a great deal of pleasure to announce
that the site change/upgrade is approximately 90% complete. In fact, many of you have noted that you have barely noticed any disturbances in the core Rennlist services during this changeover (thanks for "bending" the truth a bit - but those comments really made me feel better:-)…
Since the Rennlist site "takes a licking and keeps on ticking" (apologies to Timex:-) - I find it more then fitting to announce at this time that the Rennlist and its Racing sponsored entry of Autometrics Motorsport will be on the starting grid for 2001 Rolex 24 hours race on 1 - 4 February..!!.. Autometrics driver Cory Friedman (Charleston, SC) will be teamed with all three Rennlist Racing notable drivers - Basil Demeroutis (London UK), Adam Merzon (New York, NY) and Lynn Wilson (Westport, CT). Competing in a Porsche RSR (#14) in the GT class, Autometrics, actively competes Porsches across North America in the Grand-Am and Speedvision series. For the full announcement, team photos and practice session shots - please go to http://www.rennlist.com - you can't miss the link from that page… More announcements will occur on this subject shortly - so please keep checking the Rennlist Main Page.
Second, Rennlist is pleased to announce that Rennlist is also a primary Sponsor of the Southern Arizona Region & Arizona Region PCA - Tweeks PCA Club Race at Firebird International Raceway March 2-3, 2001. We look forward to meeting many Rennlisters during that event - as both Jen and I expect to be in attendance - cheering on our favorites from the grandstands and paddock areas. Again, please go to http://www.rennlist.com for more information… We hope to see you there!!!
Finally - I am somewhat behind in my daily ADMIN tasks - like announcing the Rennlist Technical Advisors, bringing up to date the closed Rennlist Member areas and making announcements regarding both Tweeks and Suncoast Porsche site dedications, and info about the TracQuest/Rennlist DE Event at the Glen - but once everything is ready (or I get caught up:-), I'll be making announcement in these areas as well…!!
In closing - my personal and sincerest regards to all 40,000+ of you folks for your incredible support, enthusiasm and encouragement for this site and this community - I am somewhat more then humbled and amazed by this site we call "Rennlist" and how many call it their "community". My thanks for that…
